Red Capsicum Chutney


Ingredients
  1. Red Capsicum- 1
  2. Red Chillies -3
  3. Jaggery - to taste
  4. Salt -to taste
  5. Turmeric
  6. Tamarind - Small lime size
  7. Mustard seeds
  8. Cumin seeds
  9. Curry leaves
  10. Urad dal
  11. Oil
  12. Asafoetida

Direction

  • In a pan add little oil
  • Add capsicum and chilli pieces fry till they soften.
  • Allow to cool and then grind with jaggery, tamarind, salt,turmeric and asafoetida.
  • Heat little oil add mustard seeds, cumin seeds ,urad dal curry leaves and the mixture .
  • On low flame cook the chutney 2-3 mins.
