- Rice-1 cup
- Moong dal-1 cup
- Onions-1
- Chillies-3
- Peppercorns-8
- Garlic-2 pods
- Curry leaves-5
- Coriander leaves-garnish
- Salt-taste
- Water
- Oil
- Asafeotida
- Cumin seed-3 tsp
- Mustard seeds-1 tsp
- Turmeric-1/2 tsp
Directions
- Combine oil in MV safe bowl add cumin ,mustard ,curry leaves,asafeotida and heat for a min.
- Add peppercorns ,salt,chopped onions,turmeric ,crushed garlic mix well heat for 2 mins.
- Add washed rice and dal with 2 cups water and MV for 20 mins.
- Serve with chutney
